BOMBANANA Symbol Module
The symbol module is a defusal panel that first appears around Campaign level 8. Its whole difficulty is description: the Deaf Monkey has to describe a shape clearly enough that the Mute Monkey, holding the manual, can find the same symbol among similar ones.
What the panel shows
One or more symbols the manual side has to match. The exact matching rule for the release build is not yet confirmed, so this page covers the part that always holds — how to call it.
The callout
- Describe the symbol in stable terms. A description that drifts between attempts ("kind of a swirl" → "more of a spiral") makes the manual holder pick a different symbol. Agree a small vocabulary for common shapes.
- A symbol description has to stay recognisable long enough for the manual side to find the same shape. If the Mute cannot confidently match it, re-describe from scratch rather than adding adjectives.
- Once the Mute has a match, the answer comes back the same way as any module: repeat-back, confirm, then input.
What is still unconfirmed
The manual's symbol-matching rule and any ordering logic have not been verified for the release build. This page will be filled in with the confirmed rule rather than a guess.
