BOMBANANA Braille

Braille in BOMBANANA is not a module by itself. It is an input the Blind Monkey reads by feel and reports to the team, and it appears inside other modules — most clearly the Maze module and the Direction module.

How Braille works here

The Blind Monkey cannot see colours or screens, but can feel raised Braille dots on the bomb. When a module shows a Braille value, the Blind reads the number and calls it out — which makes the Blind a source of information in that moment, not only the player who acts.

Braille represents the digits 0–9 as patterns of raised dots. If your team wants to be precise, agree on a reference before the run: standard Braille numbers use the same six-dot cells as the letters A–J with a number sign in front. In practice most teams just have the Blind report "that's a seven" and confirm it.

Where Braille shows up

The one trap

Keep the two moments separate: reporting what only you can read, and later performing the answer that comes back. Touching something while the other two are still deciding what your Braille reading means is an easy way to strike.
